Artist Vlad Ricean created this wonderfully noir fan art series of Game of Thrones characters if they were in the Godfather! Here's what he had to say about it..

"Game of Thrones, one of the best series so far. Having in mind that there is another year until the next season (an eternity) I allowed myself to bring a small tribute and to see this series from another perspective.

I wanted to try another version for the characters, to place them in another time and space, so I wanted to see how Jon Snow or The Hound would look like if the action of the movie would have taken place in the 30's in an America where mobs and wars between mafia clans was something common. I think that epoch fits perfectly with all the backstage games that take place in Game of Thrones.

"The Godfather of Thrones" or maybe "Once Upon a time in Westeros" would be a good title for these illustrations."
