Female Vegeta Cosplay

We just don't see enough Dragon Ball Z cosplay! Luna Barrero does an amazing job cosplaying as a female version of Vegeta! Here's what she said...

"Hello my name is Luna Barrero, I wanted to make my first cosplay character as Vegeta, he is a character from the manga and anime Dragon Ball Z. (written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama) His name comes from his father, King Vegeta And like his home planet, which got its name after its conquest by the Saiyans.

My Cosplay is a female version of this character, a Saiyan warrior with her strong personality, very powerful and invincible fighting. Gradually changes his clothes. At first, Vegeta used an armor with shoulder pads and skirt and a monkey tail too, after fleeing the Earth, he preserves just the shoulders and after his confrontation with Frieza and until the Cell tournament he used a breastplate. In the Majin Buu saga he just wore his blue suit without armor.

I do this cosplay for Comic.co Colombia. An event made on October 31st, at Medellín city, These beautiful pictures were taken by photographer Oscar Soto."

Disney Lessons of Love

D'aww! <3 I know this is super cheesy, but there are many truths in it and it seemed like a nice thing to post on Thanksgiving when we're thankful for our families and loved ones (especially since the last holiday post was a Cthurkey, uhhhhh)...

The Call of Cthurkey! Happy Thanksgiving!

Ahhhh, it's a Cthurkey (of course that's a reference to horror writer H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu)! Would you eat this abomination for Thanksgiving? It was made by Texan Rusty Eulberg who said he and wife Jennifer Robledo "wanted to do something unique for Christmas dinner with friends of ours. Jenny is a big fan of Cthulhu so we went and bought some crab legs and some octopus and bacon and cooked them all separate and slapped them together on a plate, and that was it. The next year I made a Cthicken; the same thing using squid instead of octopus and a chicken. The universal reaction was, 'Oh my God, I couldn't eat that.' But each individual piece was cooked separately; all I did was set them together on the plate. It was delicious. The crab leg was awesome and the bacon added a nice flavor to the turkey." Star Wars Millennium Falcon Printed Rug

WANT! Now you can have a Star Wars Millennium Falcon Printed Rug to go with your Han Solo Rug & Death Star Rug! :o

The flattest hunk of junk in the galaxy!

Throughout his career, Han Solo has had to do a ton of things to survive. Sometimes, all he has to do is disguise himself (or his ship or his cargo) enough, and he can pass right by the authorities. Like that one time he was about to be surrounded by a squadron of Stormtroopers, so he turned the Millennium Falcon into a rug. And after the heat left, he turned it back. To celebrate that event, we bring you the Millennium Falcon Printed Rug.

There's not a ton to say about the Millennium Falcon Printed Rug that you can't see in the pictures. It's a big flat Millennium Falcon. It looks great on your floor (or, if you DIY it a bit, as a tapestry on your wall). Perhaps if you get one for Jabba, he won't want YOU hanging on his wall (frozen in carbonite, of course). Speaking of carbonite, if your floor is cold as carbonite, you'll most definitely want a Millennium Falcon Printed Rug to protect your feet (even if you have more than two).

Female Link Cosplay

Geek Girl Evie E looks adorable cosplaying as a female version of Link! ♥ Here's what she had to say...

"Link and the Legend of Zelda hold a special place for most geeks/nerds, and that goes for me too. It was one of the first video games that I played and I just love the style of the games. I was able to make a female version of Link this summer when I changed my mind on a costume and was left with a ton of green fabric. I am so happy with how this costume looks and the huge hood on my cape!!!"

Geek Chic Photoshoot

Alys Ann looks adorable celebrating her geekdom in this "Geek Chic" fan photoshoot! :D She describes herself as a Cosplayer, WoWer, comic book freak, dancer, and model in the Chicago area and here's more of wht she had to say...

"I have always been a huge comic fan ESPECIALLY with anything that has to do with X-Men. I am actually creating a Dark Phoenix cosplay for C2E2 which is at the end of April. This is the outfit I decided to wear to Wizard World Chicago this summer. I did not get to dress up with the fellow members of my cosplay group, Constellation Cosplay, because I had to work later that day sadly. I was extremely determined to meet Patrick Stewart because he is one of my idols and thought it would be a fun idea to just wear all of my X-Men stuff, with some other comic-y additions. Meeting him was amazing and another story entirely in regards to how much I fangirled like a 12 year old, for real. Photographer and friend Eddie Bonneau met up with me at the con and said he loved the outfit and shooting in it would be fun so this is what happened one day when we pulled this out in his studio space after finishing some promotional canvassing for our charity bar crawl group CrawlNightLong."
