Olaf & Sven from Frozen Cosplay

Geek Girl Northern Belle Rogue and Kryptonian Cosplay look lovely as Sven and Olaf from Frozen! Here's what they both had to say...

GG Northern Belle Rogue - "Frozen has taken the world by storm, and once I watched it I knew I had to be the adorable and sometimes sassy reindeer Sven. While I adored being this noble creature, it would not have been half as fun without Olafina joining me. We balanced each other out really well with myself as the more grounded amused character and she the more bouncy huggable one. My Sven costume is made up of spandex, faux fur, sculpee, tin foil and a few other bits and pieces to keep everything together. The make up was a fun challenge as I've never really tried anything animalistic and I'm rather happy with how it came out for a first attempt. Big thanks of course to Cajun Cosplay for snagging these shots at Frost Con. While I'm excited for summer, there is an itty bitty part of me that almost wishes it was still winter so I could do more shoots with these characters. <3"

Kryptonian Cosplay - "Olaf, or Olaf(ina) as I called her; The fun, loveable, huggable, summer loving, snowman from Frozen. I must admit, I did not come up with this idea on my own - my inspiration came from Rogue. After a pleasant conversation with her, about a Disney themed cosplay, I was head over heels with the thought of bouncing around a convention dispensing laughter and happiness everywhere I went as this adorable duo. I mean, who doesn’t want a warm hug from an overly happy snowman in a tutu, or a nudge from the Queen’s Official ‘Ice Master and Deliverer’? I will admit that this costume was easy to assemble, the hardest part was figuring out my teeth, and who could help me with makeup. I am unskilled in the ways of makeup, so I enlisted the help of Carly Alexandra, and she did an outstanding job helping me bring this character to life. She even gave me a little itty bitty nose! This costume, has quickly become one of my favourites. Once the makeup was on, and we were wondering about the convention, I really fell into the spirit of this character. I may not be the most talented during photoshoots. However, with a little direction from Rogue, we made some lovely photos for our memories, and yours. I hope you enjoy our photos as much as I enjoyed being that kooky snow-brain!"

Female Joker Cosplay

Bonnie Elizabeth Scott looks amazing cosplaying as her female version of the Joker (not Duela Dent, a genderbent Joker)! Here's what she had to say about it...

"I love to make things my own by either taking a character that already exists and putting a twist on it, or inventing something not only I love, but something others get a kick out of as well. With this version of Joker I basically saw her in my head with the purple tail coat and all the pops of over the top color. I think of Joker as a villain of course, but there's something fun and sassy about him that's just fun. I wanted that playfulness to cross over into my Joker as well. There are a some pictures with a modded gun and a flag that says, "bang", and others with a super sharp knife to add a little reality to the Joker's darker side. All together I made the hat, corset, jacket, shorts, bang-flag, modded the gun, (painted the shoes), and styled everything else."

TMNT Fangirl Pizza Time Photoshoot

Zojana "ThugNerd" Tzeitel looks radical in this fun Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pizza time photoshoot! Here's a little bit about her and the shoot...

"Zojana is a huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fangirl, having been obsessed with our heroes in a half shell since as young as she can remember. She loves to spend her Saturday mornings ritualistically lounging in her Turtles skivvies while watching Nickelodeon's TMNT and feasting on a cheesy pizza pie (all to herself). Eating pizza with a fork is blasphemy, but eating pizza with a sai is T-U-R-T-L-E Power!"

Eternal Sailor Moon Cosplay

Jenna Breanne from Fitz Cosplay looks beautiful cosplaying as Eternal Sailor Moon! Here's what she had to say...

"This was my first anime cosplay as I normally cosplay as DC characters. I wanted to challenge myself and go for a different genre outside my comfort zone but I made sure to choose a character that I connect with. I grew up watching Sailor Moon as a child, as probably most girls my age did, but I chose to do Eternal Sailor Moon mostly because I am a sucker for making wings."

Dark Knight Rises Catwoman Cosplay

Cosplay Kitty Kat looks phenomenal as Catwoman from Dark Knight Rises! Here's what she had to say...

"I have been a fan of Catwoman since I was a little girl so you can imagine my excitement when Dark Knight Rises came out! Initially, I wasn't a huge fan of Catwoman's costume in the movie but the more I saw it, the more I fell in love it! I love how tactical and realistic they made her costume (minus the insane stiletto heeled boots!) I loved Anne Hathaway's badass portrayal of famous cat burglar. After seeing the movie I knew that I definitely wanted to cosplay her!"

Rogue Cosplay

Hello, Jenn Marvel here, I did another shoot with the wonderful Dee Elle Cosplay at Burlington Toy Con. I love working with her and she looks stunning in her Rogue cosplay. Here's what she had to say about the shoot...

"Rogue was the first character I ever cosplayed back in 2009 and since then I always wanted to wear the green and yellow spandex outfit again. I was glad to have a chance this year to suit up and meet with Jenn Marvel for a photoshoot, revamping the cosplay and adding some additional touches based on Rodolfo Migliari's cover from Rogue Vol.3 (2004)."

Lord of the Rings as Anime Fan Art

Ever wondered what it might look like if LotR was anime? Well, artist kittykatkanie made this awesome Lord of the Rings / Durarara!! mashup fan art! Here's what she said about it...

"I just made one huge pic, and moved it upward with flash lol Simple enough, but it took 5 days to complete everything... And the figures are mostly traced from the original ending from the anime "Durarara!!"

So the characters in order: Frodo, Sam, Black Rider (with water horse), Elrond, Strider, Boromir, Pippin, Merry, Gimli, Legolas, Aragorn and Arwen, Gandalf, Saruman, and the Dark Lord.

Just couldn't resist drawing Sauron in human form (a.k.a Annatar) PJ's ver. of Annatar was white (or he was just glittering), but I like him black XD"
