Free Comic Book Day in Ottawa

 

By: Geek Girl Critical Miss Critical Miss attended Free Comic Book Day as Harley Quinn in Ottawa this past weekend and shared a little about her experience as well as fun photos...

"This year was a lot of fun. A ton of people came out, huge lineup of people waiting excitedly for their comics and to buy some cool stuff in the Comic Book Shoppe on Bank street in Ottawa, Ontario. The weather was beautiful and everyone was in a great mood. We were on the Star Wars heavy side with it being so close to May the 4th and it was great taking silly pictures. We stood outside the shoppe waving to the busses going by and putting smiles on all the kids faces. I have to say, I always enjoy being Harley on FCBD, as I can just run around and act crazy, dance around and make people laugh. If you have never participated in FCBD then find out where the closest one is next year and check it out. And what is always fun here in Ottawa is our comiccon is always the following weekend so FCBD is a wonderful lead up to a jam packed weekend."
