"One of my favourite DC Comics whilst growing up has always been the Birds of Prey. I always liked the idea of DC having an all-girl superhero team in a setting where many of the story-arcs were male-orientated. So with having only within the past year started getting interested and participating with Cosplay, Dinah Lance was at the top of costume list! I was lucky enough to meet the incredible Kimberley Newman from A Shot in the Dark Photography at a convention recently, who created these beautiful images that I feel convey the character perfectly after we came up with a concept for a Black Canary photo-shoot."
