"The most magical moment of Harry Potter, that seemed to me like it could actually exist in our muggle reality, was when the Beauxbatons entered into the Great Hall of Hogwarts with their beautiful silk outfits and choreographed feminine moves. It was as if they were all ballerinas, and it was my childhood fantasy to be able to one day portray the very same womanly beauty and elegance as these witches.I was transfixed and watched that scene over and over again, and told myself that I would one day be a Beauxbatons student. Then because of cosplay, it happened.
My daughter doesn't know Harry Potter yet (she is 4) but she has asked me to put on the blue dress and use my magic to "make the butterflies" like I am in one of these pictures I shot with @veryfrankpics. Now there are two reasons why Fleur means so much to me."
