Power Rangers Fan Film MMPR
An awesome Power Rangers fan film/online series called
MMPR was recently brought to our attention. After a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, they raised over $42,000 and now MMPR is finally becoming a reality!
"MMPR is a darker, more mature re-imagining of the classic series that takes place 20 years after the original "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers." The infamous villain Lord Zedd—thought to have been defeated years ago—has been secretly living in the shadows, slowly regaining his powers. It's now up to a new team in modern day Angel Grove to ranger up and finish the job started by the original Power Rangers.
The first episode will premiere in early 2014, and we recently released a trailer for it:
This episode will kick off our story, and also introduce our Blue Ranger, played by
Dina Cataldi, (who is a geeky girl herself!) She will be a prominent character in this series, and is responsible for gaining access to the morpher technology for the other rangers. She also kicks tons of ass and did all her own stunts (both in and out of the suit!) Also involved are some cast and crew veterans from the original show (Ron Wasserman/composer, David Fielding/voice of Zordon, and Robert Axelrod/voice of Lord Zedd)."
