"Each of us made our costumes using different methods. Mantis purchased her outfit but found out it was 2 sizes too big and had to take 4+ inches out of the pants and shirt. She made her attennae from Instamorph plastic. Star Lord went to various Thrift Stores and pieced together her outfit. Baby Groot bough a work uniform, dyed it brown and made her mask from a face cowl, fake roots, sunglasses and fabric paint. We debuted these costumes at Phoenix Fan Fusion 2018. Mantis & Star Lord are sisters, Groot is their mother."
