"When I first heard about the new TMNT movie coming out with Megan Fox as April I knew I had to pay homage to one of my favorite childhood characters in the way I knew best (and who wouldn't want such a stylish yellow jumpsuit included in their wardrobe?) I had to hunt down a vintage 1970's pattern to get the groovy form fitting classic jumpsuit with all the handy pockets included! After finding the right pattern and fabric the costume came together relatively fast, the boots, belt and turtle communicator I picked up from various places such as eBay and Walmart! This is by far one of my most simple costumes yet one of my most favorite! I mean who doesn't love being a redhead in a comfortable yellow jumpsuit from time to time!"
