Harry Potter Pinups

 

Ginny Di created this amazing series of Harry Potter / Gil Elvgren inspired pinups! She even included side-by-side comparisons with the original illustrations so you can see where the inspiration came from! She also compiled the whole collection into a 2018 calendar that's available here! Here's what Ginny had to say followed by her incredible work...

"Earlier this year I created 6 Harry Potter-inspired cosplay pin-up images that went a little viral (here are a few articles about them.) I just recently made 7 more pin-ups for this set and thought your readers might be interested in them.

I've always been a huge fan of Gil Elvgren's pin-up illustrations, and bringing that aesthetic into my cosplay was a lot of fun! Editing these is half photo editing, half digital painting, and while the edits are very time consuming, they're also some of my favorites to work on."
