"Arwen has been one of my favourite fictional heroines since the movies first came out, I love how she stays true to what she believes in, and never gives up hope. Every outfit she wears is beautiful, however this is the dress she wears when she is at last reunited with Aragorn and that moment has always stuck out for me. I really wanted to do her justice so I tried to pay particular attention to detail, the velvet of the dress I dyed myself to get the perfect colour and the lace on the sleeves I replicated by hand with a combination of hand embroidery techniques, machine embroidery and hand beading."
