It was revealed by Game of Thrones head costume designer Michele Clapton that the Night's Watch capes are made of $79 SKOLD IKEA rugs! “These capes are actually IKEA rugs,” she said at a talk at the Getty Museum in LA last year. “We take anything we can; we cut and we shave them and then we added strong leather straps.
