Duchess Silk looks wonderful portraying Theda Bara! Here's what she had to say...
"Theda Bara was a silent film and stage actress - one of the most famous of the era. An early sex symbol, her dark hair and femme fatale roles gained her the nickname of The Vamp.
I've loved her dark, emotive photos for a long time, and was really pleased to take some in imitation of her style. Most of her films were lost in the Fox vault fire in 1937, but her images remain.
Makeup is by Phoebe Limanta - MU Artist, and photography by Ken Taylor Photographer. We tried very hard to capture Theda's signature look, with her smokey 20s look and chin dimple. And her poses with ravens.
