Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens Cosplay
Whitney N. Wickham looks incredible cosplaying as Rey in these epic composite images by
Kaminsky Kandids Photography! Here's what he said about the shoot...
"We just wanted to share the fruits of our labor from this shoot. We wanted to recreate some of our favorite images of Rey from The Force Awakens in a way that we’ve not seen done as of yet. All of these images were shot on a white backdrop in my living room with my wife holding a fan for effect, and then composited into the images you see. We planned the poses and set the lights accordingly to look as realistic as we could for the recreations of each scene. For some of the images Whitney was even standing in real sand that I put in a 3’x3’ plastic tray that you put under a washing machine. LOL. BB-8 was shot in the sand too, as it’s one of those small toys you can buy. I requested she bring it along for the shoot so I could get the specific angles and lighting that I needed. Whitney did such a great job on this cosplay that I wanted to do an equally good job on the images, both lighting and editing. We’re pretty proud of how they turned out and hope you like them as well."
