Michiru from Sailor Moon Cosplay
Heartaches looks lovely cosplaying as Michiru from Sailor Moon! ♥ Here's what she had to say...
"I'm dedicating most of my time to cosplay Sailor Neptune, aka Michiru Kaioh. She's a high femme spectacle and this outfit is inspired by her yukata, which she wears in the episode 103, for example. The last picture was shot at a sala Thai in Munich’s Westpark, I chose the location because it's by a pond, Michiru's element. She’s my everything, my Queen and Goddess. It’s so important to have her as a representation.
Michiru is a hard character to cosplay – because you must live up to her expectations. I headcanon her as being brought up by a super rich family, which showcased her and her talents (violin and drawing) whenever possible. Michiru had to keep a perfect façade ever since she could remember – she’s never readable. She might be smiling, but at the same time, she's definitely plotting and scheming. That only changes whenever she looks (like in the first picture) at her one and only true love – Haruka Tenoh, who’s so much more to than her partner Sailor Uranus. I grew up with them as my positive role-models (it’s so okay to be a passive-aggressive femme who’s into butches) and I owe those "Sailor Moon"-characters so much."
