"I don’t think it’s any surprise to say how excited and frustrated I was to have started on my Lady Loki costume. Ever since Kieron Gillen’s run with Loki, I’ve become so invested in this character! Being able to cosplay at the cusp of Loki’s slippery slope into the punk idiot we love is a privilege in its own right.
This is my first ever costume where I was involved with its construction at 80%. In fact, this is my only costume that’s practically all on me. I never touched scalemaile, I never aimed to make props, I also didn’t aim to win Comic Fiesta’s 2014 cosplay competition, but this costume allowed me do all of that and more.
I’m always in a constant flux of adoration and absolute hatred when putting this costume on. It’s like you’re wearing gold… But also it’s gold so OBVIOUSLY IT WOULD BE SUPER HEAVY TO WALK AROUND WITH. But regardless, it’s my pride and joy and I don’t think I can ever surpass this (doesn’t mean I won’t try). This costume was a journey, and it’s definitely something I’ll never forget (I HAVE SCARS).
But as of now... Back to Naruto."
