Geek Girls at Atomic Lollipop 2015
Many of our Geek Girls attended
Atomic Lollipop July 17-19th and had a blast as always! Here's what a few of them had to say about it, followed by photos of some of the girls in attendance...

Jenn Marvel:
"Atomic is my favorite con of the year, Every year I buy myself a new kigurumi, This year I bought the Lemur I love it and can't wait to wear it. Friday was the first day of the con, when I arrived, I walked around the vendors in the upstairs area, there were a lot of really great artists and vendors at this con. I then watched the circus act, which I absolutely loved. And then the Disney Drag race. I love the programing at Atomic, it's so much fun and entertaining. Outside they had a bouncy castle and a gladiator ring. Also set up were barbecues, food and a LARP group. Back inside, I ventured down to the lower levels of the centre, I walked around the various exhibits interacting with all the science centre had to offer. There was also a Much Music video dance which featured 90's music and music videos, cue the nostalgia. I really love the vibe of this event, it's not like any other event I've ever been to. Saturday and Sunday unfortunately I was sick so I had to cancel my panels, and things I had planned. Hopefully I'll be able to return again next year."

"Atomic Lollipop was so much fun! It was my first year attending, and it was truly a blast! There was so much to do and so much to see! The Ontario Science Center was perfect for this con! I managed to get quite a lot of photos of different cosplayers, which will be going up in a coverage article soon here on Geek Girls! So keep your eye out! I really do look forward to attending Atomic Lollipop next year for sure!"

Northern Belle Rogue:
"GG Northern Belle Rogue had a blast working with ArtistiCurves on their first ever live body paint show together. Big thanks to all the Apoppers who came out not only to the live show, but to their body painting panel as well. When she wasn't being painted she had fun bouncing around as either Sven-bacca a Star Wars/Frozen mash up or Terra from Final Fantasy VI"

Purelight Cosplay:
"This was my first year at Atomic Lollipop and my goodness did I ever have a blast with all my friends. I dressed up in my Harley Bunny suit along with my fellow Geekettes. Can't wait to attend next year for more crazy fun."
