"I loved the Phantom. So much.
He was the super hero I most wanted to be. It would have certainly been the first comic I ever read. And I read a lot of them.
I loved the Phantom because, to five-year-old me, he was realistic. He wasn't made super through radiation exposure or genetic mutation. His fight against evil was an inheritance from his ancestor, and while his ancestor, his father (and eventually he) would die in the battle, the Phantom would live on forever.
Of course, he could also talk to jungle animals, so that realism certainly had an end point...
This body paint took three hours. Emily Rose is incredibly talented and a cheerful perfectionist. And Luke Milton is nothing if not patient, waiting until late in the evening for me to be photo ready. The end result was amazing - I hope you agree."
