Elektra Cosplay

Jeanne Killjoy does an awesome job as usual with this character. Here is what she has to say about the costume...
"Elektra has become one of my favorite cosplays. It's the first one I made entirely from just a pile of fabric. Since I've started cosplaying, I've definitely come a long way. It started with just minor alterations. I would commission a cosplay from someone and it would be too long so I would hem it. I added some patches or something onto jackets for cosplays like Persona 3. I'm not really sure what made me want to make Elektra, but I told myself I could, and I did. I made it without any help. It wasn't until after I already was at the convention that I showed a friend of mine who's a seamstress and she gave me some pointers on how to make it better.
Yes, of course I love the character, but this cosplay means so much more to me now because I made it. I plan on making more of my cosplays in the future (or at least making most of them). I think that's a major aspect of cosplaying: continuing to grow and learn."
