Kitana from Mortal Kombat Kosplay
Ashavari looks incredible cosplaying as Kitana from Mortal Kombat in these photos from Fan Expo 2014! Here's what she had to say...
"Mortal Kombat is one of my favourite games and has been growing up as a child. I've always loved Kitana and the various versions of her. Being one of the first powerful and deadly females I was exposed to in the gaming realm, she's been a character I've always admired and wanted to be for day. When I found out I was actually able to put together this cosplay, I was really excited to wear it to a con but also quite nervous since it's a fairly revealing cosplay and I wasn't sure what to expect from people there.
I wore it for the first time at Anime North 2013 and was delighted to get some really positive feedback from the community. I was happy to find that most people in the geek community are supportive, friendly and always super excited about the nerdy things we all love. This helped to boost my confidence and break down many cosplay limitations that I may have held prior to that experience! :)"
