Cheetara Cosplay
We feel like we have been waiting forever to see a Cheetara cosplay and finally it's here! Constantine does a fantastic job with this cosplay and we think she pulled off the look and feel extremely well. Here is what Constantine had to say about the cosplay, the character and the shoot...
"Cheetara is a character I've been wanting to cosplay for years! Growing up, I was a huge fan of Thundercats and Cheetara's calm, sophisticated demeanor really resonated with me. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of Cheetara cosplayers out there and I really wanted to do her character justice. Cartoon and comic book designs use very striking, solid colors that sometimes don't translate extremely well in real life. I ended up going with a mix of 1980s awesomeness and tribal warrior; combining orange latex-coated spandex and golden tights with more natural elements like feathers and wild, messy hair. Together with the face paint and red contacts, I couldn't be happier with how this costume turned out! Special thanks to my photographer, Jonathon D. Courtot, for shooting me at 'magic hour' (sunset) at the Culver City Park in Los Angeles!"
