Repo! the Genetic Opera Blind Mag
For all you Repo fans out there we have a special treat! Michelle Stewart looks awesome in her Blind Mag costume. Here is what she has to say about the character, her group and the film...
"These photos are from a photoshoot we, the Necromerchant's Payment, did in August 2011 for our Shadowcast of Repo! the Genetic Opera. Shadowcasting is when a live ensemble recreates a movie on stage while the film is playing behind them. We do this once a month at Club Saw in Ottawa, and the show is different everytime! I play Blind Mag, an opera singer who owes a great debt to Geneco's founder, Rotti Largo. Casandra LaNeve plays Shilo Wallace, one of the main characters, who is heavily sheltered by her father, Nathan Wallace, played here by Jeff Ghadban. We have a lot of fun doing this once a month, and often apply themes to the shows so we can add in extra jokes here and there.
