"The Last Unicorn was one of my favorite movies as a little girl; I was almost as obsessed with it as I was with The Lion King. Lady Amalthea has something I have wanted to cosplay for a while, she is such a beautiful character and so interesting! The dress in the movie is super plain/simple though and I felt that it didn’t suit a unicorn turned human, so I took some liberties with the design, finding inspiration from Firefly path and a number of MLP cosplays. In the end I am super happy with the costume!"
