Ringo from Mawaru Penguindrum Cosplay

A wonderful submission from the lovely ka-san. For those not familiar with the series Mawaru Penguindrum centers around a terminally ill girl named Himari Takakura is miraculously saved from death by a strange spirit who resides in a penguin-shaped hat. However, in exchange for extending her life, the spirit tasks Himari's brothers, Kanba and Shouma, to seek out an item known as the Penguin Drum with assistance from a trio of strange penguins.

"Even though the costume isn't complex, Ringo is easily my favorite. Mawaru Penguindrum is my favorite anime of all time, and I really connected to the message it presents - that love, all forms of it, is crucial to life. And an excuse to do a photoshoot in the Newport Aquarium in Oregon as well as the Oregon Zoo never hurts!"
