"I made the mask myself out of worbla and cut and sewed the fur onto the body suit.
I chose to cosplay Black Cat because she has a really messed up past, like myself, and I felt I could relate and portray her well. Another reason I chose her was because I wanted to show that you don’t need the “perfect cosplay body” to do a cosplay well.
I’ve been under so much pressure to loose weight for conventions and shoots that I started to really let it get to me and I began to developed an eating disorder.
I’m still not 100% but that’s okay. I am happy with these images and I want to inspire as many people as I can to be themselves, and don’t let societies expectations get to you.
