Tyrande Whisperwind World of Warcraft Cosplay
AllieCat Art & Cosplay sent us her Tyrande Whisperwind from WoW photos from a cosplay workshop with a photography group they had in Vancouver. She looks amazing, here's what she said about it...
"Hi there! My name is Allie Rose-Marie Leost (AllieCat Cosplay) and I am a 3D animator working professionally within the BC TV/Film industry. I've always loved all things art and am constantly looking for new ways to challenge myself as an artist. After years of admiring cosplays made by other talented artists I decided to make my very first cosplay this past August 2013 being Tyrande Whisperwind from World of Warcraft. It took me a dedicated month to put together, from sewing the dress to sculpting the latex details and casting LED gems.
I've sadly never actually had the chance to play World of Warcraft before but I fell in love with Tyrande's design and thought she had the perfect level of detail for attempting my first cosplay. When I debuted Tyrande for the first time I couldn't believe how well it was received, winning the Vancouver 2013 Anime Revolution cosplay contest hosted by Jessica Nigri. The whole thing was an amazing experience and I can't wait to work on more cosplays in the future.
