Middle Earth Barbie Cosplay looks awesome as Mad Moxxi! Here's what she said about her cosplay...
“I’ve always loved Mad Moxxi since my sister introduced me to Borderlands years ago I was immediately hooked! I’ve always loved her “I’m-not-good-but-I’m-not-bad” character, she’s neutral and does whatever benefits herself. When Borderlands 2 was released and her outfit was purple I knew I HAD to make that costume. I’d been cosplaying since 2006 but only since 2011 did I decide to take things seriously. When I completed Moxxi I teamed up with the amazing Tim Miller from Dreamcoat Photography and had the best shoot of my life! We did a few shots with a white background then decided to hunt down an accurate location. Bingo! We came across the remains of a burnt down house. Post Apocalyptic setting was done…after we checked to see if it was safe!
The highlight of this cosplay was when I went to Brisbanes Supanova Pop Culture convention in a big BL2 group and met Dameon Clarke the voice actor of Handsome Jack! He was such a good sport with the group, jumping at any chance for group photos. I feel like I did my Mad Moxxi cosplay justice with the skill level I’m at but I also can’t wait to see the result when I improve and remake Mad Moxxi.”
