"I have been a huge fan of Star Wars since I was a little girl. Growing up, we would watch the trilogy throughout the weekend: Friday was A New Hope, Saturday was The Empire Strikes Back, and Sunday was Return of the Jedi. Every weekend, this was our tradition. So it was only natural that I grew up wanting to be a Jedi. I even took martial arts for a little while because of this. In 2010, I attended my first Star Wars Celebration, and to really pay my respect, I made my first real cosplay, Atris, from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. She's not a well liked character due to her attitude toward the main player, but I really like the depth of her persona that is mostly left up to the imagination due to a rushed deadline. Since CV, I have brought the costume to a number of other conventions, and even gained recognition from Chris Avellone and Brian Menze - the character writer and the artist for Atris! I am currently working on a variation of Star Forge Revan (Original KOTOR) for Megacon in March, and I can't wait to debut it!"
