"Jester's relationship with her mom has been so compelling to me since the beginning of the campaign. I know it's really common for D&D characters to have dead parents or shitty parents (in the campaign I DM, three of the five players have dead/missing parents!) but I think Jester is great proof that you can have living, loving parents and still build an interesting story around it! The way Laura has built Jester's character around how she was raised while simultaneously making her SO different from Marion is just... *chef's kiss* such good storytelling!!"
