Morrigan Cosplay

Holly Brooke on Geek Girls! These photos are stunning, here's what she said about her cosplay...
"This Morrigan costume was actually my second go around with the character. Morrigan was one of my first convention costumes, however the first version was pretty cheesy! I really love this character and I have fond memories of playing Marvel vs. Capcom as a kid in the pizza parlor around the corner from my house. That then grew into a love of Darkstalkers in general, and an undeniable need to cosplay Morrigan. Although I say that my first Morrigan was pretty cheesy, I hold it near and dear to my heart because I learned so much about cosplaying with that costume. When it came to remaking the costume I knew I had to get the wings just right, that was my biggest endeavor for this version. These wings are constructed of hoola hoops and fabric, with some sculpey clay to create the horns. I was very happy with the outcome of the wings, unfortunately I made the poor choice to wear the costume on Saturday of Sand Diego comic Con, and they were pretty mangled after one lap of the con floor! Another lesson learned...perhaps for Morrigan 3.0!"
