Rage Quit Cosplay looks incredible cosplaying as Mera! Here's what she had to say...

"Prior to this project I had zero experience with pattern design (let alone modeling a pattern to my custom measurements) or worbla smithing. Since this was my first from scratch build I spent 90+ hours researching everything to do with this category of cosplay before beginning construction.

Every piece of armor you see was created by trial and error and are my second, third, or even fourth versions of their original designs.

When I began this build in December 2017, Justice League had been in theaters only a few weeks; as a result there were very few images of the new Mera armor online. This created an exciting challenge from a patterning and design standpoint.

This project was constructed with EVA foam, yoga mats, manila file folders, worbla, PVC pipe, wood dowels, and hand-painted with acrylic paint and nail polish! Roughly 380+ hours (four months) went into this project."
